The field
An F1 sweepstake is a random draw where each player is assigned a Formula 1 driver from the season grid. Players follow their driver through the season or a single race, and the winner is usually the player whose driver scores the most points or finishes highest.
Add everyone taking part and press Run Draw. Each player is randomly assigned an F1 driver from the grid, with no spreadsheet or paper draw needed, and the organiser can share the results with the group.
Yes. The drivers on the grid are shuffled randomly before being assigned. In the standard draw, each driver can only be drawn once, so no two players share a driver.
Both work. Season-long sweepstakes usually score on the drivers' championship standings, while race-day sweepstakes go to the player whose driver wins or finishes highest that weekend. Agree the rule with your group before the draw.
The full 22-driver grid is shuffled and dealt to the player list in order. Every driver has an equal chance of landing with any player, so nobody can engineer getting the championship favourite.
